Community Hub Resource Consent

Toa Developments are proud to announce we have obtained Resource Consent for the ‘Central Precinct’ a vibrant and open community hub for the Kenepuru Landing Development.

This approval paves the way for next steps to start building the 89-child Early Childhood Centre, and future Superette, plus a 3-storey 21-unit Apartment Block. Central to this piece of work is the large recreation reserve and playground area which will link via shared pathways into the adjacent bush covenant.

We are particularly proud of this work as it’s the first area of the development Ngāti Toa have designed from scratch since taking over from our partners Carrus. Special attention to environmental quality has been achieved by integrating several rain gardens plus on-lot attenuation to manage stormwater run-off into the protected wetland within the adjacent Covenant Reserve.
